Podium for Jorge Martin with 3rd in #JapaneseGP, Johann Zarco 11th
Martinator returns to the podium after Barcelona, and after a surreal weekend, Zarco finished eleventh. A crazy race for the Spanish rider who, after a crazy start, placed himself in the front group and stayed there until the parc fermé. Jorge managed the race in a masterly way and brought the Prima Pramac team back to the third step of the podium at the Motegi circuit.
Johann Zarco lost positions after the start and made a few mistakes which cause him to lose important positions finding himself in thirteenth position, he managed to recover and finished eleventh.
Jorge Martín
Very happy, I had a great race and I gave everything. I’m sure if I had put the hard tyre on the back I could have fought for the win. Anyway, it’s okay, we’ve taken a step forward and I think we could do very well in Thailand. Congratulations to Jack.
Johann Zarco
I made a few mistakes after the start and lost a lot of positions, found myself thirteenth and after that it was almost impossible to play for important positions. It’s a shame because I really believed in it.
