Fifteenth for Scott Ogden in Thailand, 23rd for Josh Whatley
VisionTrack Racing enjoyed more success in Thailand, at the Buriram Grand Prix. Both riders adapted to the new track very quickly during the Friday practice sessions. Saturday proved to be slightly more challenging for the riders, Scott qualified 22nd and Josh qualified in 27th which didn’t show the real potential of their pace.
Race day was much more successful for Scott, he battled hard throughout the race with a good bunch of riders. Eventually he crossed the line in 15th position, claiming the final point available. Josh got caught up in a lot of the crashes early on in the race and lost the group in front as a result of this. He finished the race in 23rd position.
Scott Ogden
“I was really pleased to come away with a point scoring finish from Thailand, it’s been a tough few races but I feel like this has got my season back on track. I think Philip Island will suit my riding style so I’m looking forward to getting out there.”
Josh Whatley
“I’m disappointed not to finish higher in the race as I felt like I’d made a big step forward this weekend leading up to it. After the last few races I’ve had it was good to get a full race distance under my belt again though.”
