Sunday at Le Mans with the fifth race of the season, which has been a mixed race for both PONS WEGOW LOS40 riders.

After a difficult Saturday for both riders, today they started the race ready to make a comeback. After a good start, Canet had placed himself in the second group and was recovering positions, when he was involved in a crash that he could not avoid, crashing and without the possibility of rejoining the race, a crash that ended up being a red flag and, consequently, the race restarted.

In the second start, GarcĂa, who started from eighteenth position, again got off to a good start. From less to more, the PONS WEGOW LOS40 rider got up to eighth position but his physical problems in his forearms made him arrive very close to the end of the race, crossing the finish line in a good tenth position.

Sergio GarcĂa, 10th, +10.817

Today we had a good start to the race. I felt comfortable and moved up several positions, but after the eighth lap my arm felt very swollen and I couldn’t give 100%. Even so, I am satisfied with the way we are working. Now I will undergo surgery and I hope to recover well for Mugello.

ArĂłn Canet, crash

A weekend to forget. Yesterday we struggled to set a lap and today we couldn’t avoid the accident that happened right in front of us. It’s a pity to end the Grand Prix like that but luckily I’m okay, with a strong blow to my ankle. It’s time to think about Mugello.
