Aldeguer finishes #IndonesianGP in 3rd place, Lopez 25th after early crash
At the Mandalika International Circuit, Aldeguer scored his second podium of the season with a sensational third position, while López crossed the finish line in P25 after a crash.
Fermin closed the Indonesian Grand Prix bringing Boscoscuro and the Beta Tools SpeedUp to the third step of the podium after a more than positive weekend.
In the initial battle with Gonzalez and Arbolino, the number 54 managed to find the space to act, reaching third place in just a few laps. After having secured an excellent gap from fourth, Aldeguer continued to improve in each sector with the aim of also reducing the distance from the second rider. Always remaining behind Canet and therefore excluding any possibility of attack from behind, the young rider concluded the Indonesian Grand Prix climbing onto the third step, second podium of this season.
However, an unlucky start for Alonso who found himself on the ground at turn 1 of the first lap due to contact with another rider. Despite this, the number 21 concluded his race by crossing the finish line in twenty-fifth position.
ALDEGUER – 3rd
I’m super happy with today’s race. It was a shame not to have fought for a better position but to be back on the podium is the best feeling in the world. I thank my team for all the work done and now we must continue in view of the Australian GP.
LÓPEZ – 25th
On the first lap, a contact with another rider took me off the track, not allowing me to finish the race as we expected. Despite this, I believe we have a clearer line of sight after today’s race and we can’t wait to get back on track next week!
