Honda HRC Castrol Unveil 2025 MotoGP Livery
Honda HRC Castrol MotoGP unveiled their livery today in Jakarta after much anticipation after parting with their title sponsor Repsol after 30 years together. They welcome Castrol as their main sponsor of MotoGP after a history with the brand after they originally debuted with Honda in 1959 at the Isle of Man TT.
For 2025, Joan Mir and Luca Marini stay with the Honda outfit after a 2024 to forget with the riders finishing last season in 21st and 22nd respectively. Honda are looking to change their luck with a brand new look and title sponsor for this year.
Marini on the new sponsor and bike: “It’s a pleasure to represent these colours, The livery on my side is fantastic. My opinion is Honda needed this change and these colours that represent their best image. I think with all the new engineers we have and all the efforts that people are putting into the project will bring back these great manufacturers to the victory in MotoGP. This is our target and we will sacrifice everything and give 100% every day.”
Mir on the new bike: “The livery is fantastic. I like it a lot personally, this is very beautiful. We have a new sponsor so looks like the project is a slightly different. We are working very, very hard and I hope that the effort that we are putting that Luca said soon we will get a reward so happy to be here and hope you enjoy the new colours.”
There is one more livery reveal left on the 8th of February with LCR Honda left before MotoGP’s official launch event in Bangkok on the 9th of February.
