Inaugural World Sportbike 2026 Provisional Entry List

The new category for 2026 fields six manufacturers Aprilia, Kawasaki, Kove, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha. The grid is comprised of already established riders, champions and rookies looking to tackle the new challenge of the WorldSPB championship.

Former WorldSSP300 champions Beñat Fernández and Jeffery Buis step into the grid. Fernández stays in the Kove outfit for 2026 with new teammate German rider Phillip Tonn. Buis joins Track & Trades Wixx Racing alongside rookie teammate Ferre Fleerackers on a Suzuki for 2026.

FIM Yamaha R3 Blu Cru World Cup 2025 Winner Alessandro Di Persio moves into the category with ARCO Yamaha MotoR University Team and is alongside Gonzalo Sánchez.

Xavi Artigas joins MTM Kawasaki alongside Loris Veneman who had a successful end to the season with the team in WorldSSP300. PATA AG Motorsport Italia field Australian rider Taiyo Aksu for 2026.

Taiyo Aksu is amongst the rookies for 2026 including Gabin Cazard, Julian Correa, Álvaro Fuertes, Arai Agaska, Alessandro Di Persio, Thomas Benetti, Harrison Dessoy, Mattia Sorenti, Ferre Fleerackers and Kas Beekman. There is a total of 16 nationalities and 18 teams fielding 33 riders for 2026.
