Marc Marquez crashed, lost the race, and is now 30 points behind world championship leader Valentino Rossi. So why is Marc Marquez still a winner? It’s becasue of his attitude when losing. “I don’t think a rider like Marc is scared about this or a bad result can modify his attitude,” Rossi said.
No one likes to lose but Marquez always admits and learns from his mistakes quickly and does not make a lot of excuses. His mental strength is too strong. “The championship is very long and Marc has demonstrated that he can recover,” Rossi said. After his clash with Rossi, Marquez declared Rossi is still his idol. “I’ve always said that he’s [Rossi] my idol and my reference, so you always learn things from him,” Marquez said.
It’s no wonder why these two men are loved and respected by fans and riders.
